How to make
The cleaned strawberries are cut into two pieces and are put in a glass jar. Pour the alcohol over them and leave them for 10 days in a cool place and make sure to shake them occasionally.
Make a syrup by heating water, sugar and vanilla until everything melts. Take it off of the hob and leave it to cool.
Strain the strawberries through a strainer and press down with a spoon, so the liquid falls into a large container.
Mix the resulting strawberry liquid with the sugar syrup, stir and pour it into bottles with a cap.
Allow it to rest for 12 hours and you can drink the homemade strawberry liqueur.
Serve it chilled and store it in the refrigerator.
