"Walnut dressing - your little secret for flavoring salads"

Ingredients

  • walnuts - 1.7 oz (50 g)
  • olive oil - 5 1/2 tbsp (80 ml)
  • vinegar - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 ml) of apple
  • balsamic vinegar - 1 - 2 tbsp.
  • salt - 1 tsp. levelled, or to taste

The final taste that they will acquire sometimes depends on the dressing that we prepare for our salads. Therefore, if we dress it with a well-chosen and well-prepared dressing, we will make a special salad even consisting of the simplest products.

This recipe gives you just such a special and very tasty walnut dressing.

It is quick and easy to prepare and you will see for yourself.

The walnuts are ground, and depending on your preferences or the type of salad you will dress, you can grind them very finely or into larger pieces.

Pour the olive oil and both types of vinegar. The balsamic vinegar can be ommitted, I sometimes add it for colour and a slightly sweet note. White balsamic vinegar is also a good option and can completely replace apple cider vinegar.

Add salt to taste and mix well.

It is good for the walnut dressing to rest for at least an hour before it is used, but in case you are in a hurry, it is not a problem to flavour your salad with it right now.

These products are enough for 1 large salad or at least two servings.
