Ingredients

  • spaghetti - 8 oz (220 g)
  • heavy cream - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • milk - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • processed cheese - 4.8 oz (135 g)
  • tuna - 5.6 oz (160 g), tin
  • onions - 1 medium - sized onion
  • salt - by taste
  • basil - fresh leaves
  • olive oil - 4 tbsp.
  • black pepper - by taste

How to make

Finely chop the onion or grate it and fry it in olive oil with a little salt until it turns lightly golden brown.

Add the tuna flakes to it and make sure to strain it from the liquid, beforehand. Stir to fry it slightly.

Add the cream and the processed cheese in pieces. To make it easier to melt, beat with a wire whisk until the sauce is completely smooth. Season it with black pepper and remove it from the heat.

Cook the spaghetti al dente according to the manufacturer's instructions. Strain tham and they can be served in two ways, according to your preferences.

One is by mixing them with the sauce and the other is by serving them drizzled with it.

Sprinkle generously with chopped fresh basil on top.
