How to make
Crush the garlic, cut the ginger into small pieces and throw them together in very hot oil, then add the onions. Fry on medium heat for a minute and a half.
Add the sugar, vinegar, tomato paste, soya sauce, alcohol, orange juice and water.
Stir continuously to dissolve the sugar and get a smooth blend. Gradually increase the temperature and add the starch.
Stir until the sauce thickens.
