How to make
Put the water and sugar in a deep pot on the stove. Make a thin caramel, stirring constantly. Grease a baking form with removable sides and put the caramel in it. Cut the cleaned pears into thick slices. Arrange them snugly and beautifully over the caramel.
Separately, beat the soft butter with the sugar until it becomes a smooth cream. In another bowl, beat the eggs and gradually add them to the butter until homogenized. Finally, mix the milk in. Pour the resulting fluffy mix over the pears and smooth out the top well.
Bake the loaf with pears in a heated 360°F (180 °C) oven for about 1 hour - until completely ready. Using a sharp knife, unstick the edges of the loaf from the sides of the form. Remove the ring and flip the cake onto a cooking grid. Let it cool completely and cut it.
