Ingredients

  • minced meat - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • pasta - 14 oz (400 g)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.
  • parsley - 5 stalks
  • paprika - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
  • savory herb - 1 tsp.
  • mint - 1 tsp.
  • salt
  • oil - 2 tbsp.

How to make

In 5 cups of boiling water add a tablespoon of oil and a pinch of salt and then add the pasta and boil it until it's fully cooked.

Cut the onion into small cubes and stew in the oil until it softens.

Add the minced meat and fry it until it's golden brown. Finally, add the grated tomatoes, finely chopped fresh parsley and spices and simmer for a few more minutes.

The mixture is added to the strained pasta and everything is poured into a baking pan.

Pour some water, almost to the level of the mixture and bake in the oven until it evaporates. Finally, add the beaten eggs, yogurt, soda and salt and bake the moussaka for another 10-15 minutes until the cream sauce is baked.
