Ingredients

  • squids - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • red onions - 1 small head
  • tomatoes - 9 oz (250 g)
  • olive oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • celery - 1/2 head
  • red wine - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • carrots - 2 oz (50 g)
  • lemons - for garnishing

How to make

Cut the squids into rings and wash them. In preheated oil, fry the onion, add the squid and sauté it until tender.

Add wine, the chopped vegetables, salt and pepper to taste and finally, water. Boil the dish for about 40 minutes and serve chilled as an appetizer with lemon slices.
