How to cook

Wash the potatoes, peel them and rinse them. Cut each potato into thin round slices with a thickness of about 3/16″ (5 mm), the blade of the knife should not reach the base of the potato. Cut the garlic into thin slices and the smoked cheese into thin round slices.

Instead of smoked cheese, you can use a sausage of your choice. Between the sides of each potato slice, put garlic and smoked cheese.

Heat the olive oil with a little lemon juice and pour it over the potatoes, that have already been arranged in the tray. Sprinkle with spices and salt to taste.

Put the potatoes to bake for 50-60 minutes in a preheated oven. During baking, pour on the oil from the tray numerous times.

When finished, remove the potatoes, sprinkle them with a little grated cheese and return for 2 minutes to brown.
