How to make
Dissolve the yeast in a little water, together with the salt and sugar. Mix well and set aside, while mixing 1 1/5 cups (300 g) of flour with 4/5 cup (200 ml) milk. Add the yeast to it, stir and leave in a warm place to rise and for the volume to increase 2-3 times.
Then, in parts, carefully add the remaining milk, flour and water. Stir gently and thoroughly, then put it on the heat again for half an hour. Heat a lightly greased hot skillet and pour on part of the dough with a ladle.
You should get pancakes about 5/16 thick. Fry on both sides, and smear each ready one with plenty of butter.
