How to make
Beat the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and keep beating, until you have a creamy mix. Sift in the flour and baking powder together.
Divide the mix in two parts and add the cocoa powder to one of them. Pour the batter into a greased silicone pop cake mould. Seal with the top of the mould and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175 degrees) for 15-20 minutes.
The baking time depends on the size of the mould. Remove the cake pops after they have cooled completely. Melt a little chocolate on a ben marie, or in the microwave for a few seconds.
Dip each treat stick in the melted chocolate and insert it into the cake pop. Repeat with the rest and let the chocolate cool down completely. Now is the time to decorate them. Melt the rest of the chocolate, pour it into a pastry bag with a thin tip and decorate the cake pops according to your taste.
You can add some sprinkles, while the chocolate is still moist. Arrange the cake pops in a tall glass, or on a styrofoam base.
Enjoy!
