Ingredients

  • octopus - 2 lb (1 kg) small, or 1 whole, large
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • oregano
  • black pepper - optional
  • curry - 2 - 3 pinches
  • lemons - 1

How to make

If using small octopuses, dip them in boiling water for a few minutes.

If your are cooking a large octopus, put it to boil for 30-40 minutes. Remove the cooked octopus, drain it and cut it into pieces.

Heat olive oil in a deep pan, fry the chopped garlic cloves and put the octopus pieces to fry for about 10 minutes.

When almost ready, squeeze out the juice of 1 lemon, add the spices and remove the octopus from the heat.

Doesn't say how Long to fry!! I would think that's important for those who have never cooked Octopus !
