How to make

Stew the chicken giblets with the rice, some crushed onions, a little tomato paste and spices to taste. Fill the chicken with this stuffing and sew it closed.

Separate 12 leaves of sauerkraut and finely crush the rest. Season the minced meat with spices and finely crushed onion and make wraps with the leaves. In a large stew pot, put some chopped sauerkraut, stuffed leaf wraps, the whole stuffed chicken, then the chopped smoked meat (can use bacon), chopped sausages and pork and beef.

While arranging, you can throw in the bay leaves and some spices. Top up with the oil and the tomato paste that has been dissolved in sauerkraut juice. Add the wine and seal the container tightly.

Leave the Christmas casserole to bake overnight in a low oven.
