"Pesto pasta and an invitation for lunch"

Ingredients

  • penne pasta - 14 oz (400 g) or pasta of your choice
  • chicken breast - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • pesto - 2 tbsp. (genovese)
  • heavy cream - 3 tbsp.
  • onions - 1 pc. (small onion)
  • salt
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp.

How to make

Cut the chicken fillet into thin strips. Peel and finely chop the onion.

Heat olive oil at medium heat in a deep frying pan and steam the chicken strips and onion for about 5 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, boil the pasta according to the manufacturer's instructions. Add the cream to the chicken and onion and cook for another 10 minutes, while stirring.

Drain the pasta and pour it over the chicken. Stir and remove from the heat. Add the pesto and mix the flavors well. Serve the dish hot.
