Ingredients

  • eggs - 5 egg whites
  • sugar - 1 cup (250 g)
  • coconut flakes - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • flour - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • milk - 1 cup for soaking the layers
  • for the cream
  • condensed milk - 1 can, sweetened
  • butter - 1 cup (250 g) soft
  • coconuts flakes - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • white chocolate - 3.5 oz (100 g), crushed

How to make

Beat the egg whites with the sugar, add the coconut flakes and mix well. Add the flour sifted with the baking powder and stir until the mixture becomes homogeneous.

Pour the mixture into a tray with baking paper and place it to bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven. Bake until pale pink. Put the ready cake in a cool area and gently syrup it with milk.

For the cream, beat the soft butter with a mixer and while beating constantly, add the condensed milk. Continue beating and add the melted and cooled chocolate, and finally - mix it with the coconut flakes.

Top with cream and put the cake in the fridge for a few hours before serving.
