How to make
Beat the eggs and sugar to whitening, add the flour with the baking soda and vanilla. Beat well and pour into a large rectangular buttered tray, laid out with buttered baking paper.
Bake at 360°F (180 °C) in a cold oven. Once ready, invert the layer while still hot onto baking paper that you've coated with powdered sugar. Immediately smear with marmalade and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
While still warm, wrap into a roll using the paper. Coat the finished roll thoroughly with whipped sweet cream with walnuts.
