Ingredients

  • potatoes - 20, medium sized
  • butter - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • savory

How to make

Take a tray and butter it well (or use oil). Wash the potatoes well, without peeling them. Cut them in two lengthwise. Salt the insides of the potatoes with just a little salt and place them in the tray the with the same side up.

Sprinkle the thus arranged potatoes with salt if desired, black pepper, savory, and finally place pieces of butter on top of each potato.

Put a little butter between the potatoes as well if you are using butter instead of oil. Bake in a preheated oven for about 40 to 45 minutes. After they are ready, let them rest in or out of the oven for around 10 minutes so that the potatoes absorb the remaining butter.
