"A tasty and healthier version of your favorite Bolognese spaghetti."

Ingredients

  • spaghetti - 1 pack
  • oil - 1/5 cup (60 ml)
  • mince - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • onions - 1 head
  • carrots - 1
  • tomatoes - 1 can whole
  • oregano - 1 tsp
  • basil - 1 tsp
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • cheese - to sprinkle, grated

How to make

Boil the pasta according to package directions, then rinse under cold water and drain it. For the sauce, put the crushed onions and grated carrots to braise briefly in the heated oil. A few minutes later, add the minced meat and stir until it crumbles and fries.

Season everything with spices and remove from the heat. Mash the canned tomatoes and stir them with the minced meat mixture. If necessary, add a little more spices.

Pour the sauce in an oven dish and place it in the warm oven to bake until the liquid is reduced, stirring occasionally. Serve each plate of spaghetti with Bolognese sauce and garnish as desired with grated cheese.
