"A quick and tasty cake that melts in your mouth. We got it from one of our coworkers, who spoils us with it from time to time. And when she does, there`s hardly time for eating anything else"
- apples - 3 lb (1.5 kg)
- flour - 1 cup
- semolina - 1 cup
- sugar - 1 cup + additional 5 spoons for caramelization
- baking powder - 1 full tbsp (10 g)
- cinnamon - 1 - 2 tsp
- butter - 3.5 oz (100 g) of melted
measuresHow to make
Mix all the dry products without the cinnamon. Grate the apples and mix them with the cinnamon and sugar.
Begin to stack in a rectangular tray - a thin line of dry mixture, a little butter, apples and repeat with 2 more rows. Finish on top with semolina and pour on some melted butter.
I like to add a little apple juice. Put the cake to bake in moderately heated oven until red.
