How to make
Boil sugar syrup of sugar and water, add the lemon juice and leave it to cool. Separately boil 2 cups (500 ml) of water in a pot, add oil and salt, add the flour all at once and stir vigorously for 5-6 minutes. At the bottom of the pan, it must form a thick coating.
Allow the dough to cool for about 5 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each. Heat oil in a pan for frying. Take the dough balls with your slightly greasy hands. Each ball is made with a small hole in the middle, by finger, which looks like a navel.
Another option is to mold the dough into pretzels and then fry it. Fry them on both sides and the finished cookies are placed immediately in an already cooled sugar syrup, as their middle gets a cocktail cherry.
