"Finding an improvisation on a classic salad that`s better than the original is just plain amazing."

Ingredients

  • apples - 4 large red
  • celery - 6 stalks, finely chopped
  • walnuts - 2/5 cup (100 g) sliced
  • tuna - 14 oz (400 g) canned
  • mayonnaise - 6 tablespoons
  • sour cream - 4 tablespoons
  • lettuce - 1. or Caesar
  • lemons - juice from ½
  • black pepper
  • salt

How to make

Cut the apples into quarters, remove the cores and cut them into pieces 1/2″ (1 cm) thick. Put them in a bowl, season with lemon juice.

Add the walnuts and celery. Drain the tuna and then tear it to pieces. Add to the salad. Mix the mayonnaise, cream and spices in a separate bowl and then add them.

Add lettuce and if desired, decorate with celery leaves. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator.
