Ingredients

  • spinach - 11 oz (300 g) fresh
  • olive oil - 2 tsp
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • basil - 1/2 bunch
  • cream cheese - 1/3 cup (84 g)
  • black pepper - freshly ground
  • liquid cream - 1/3 cup (75 ml) for cooking
  • parmesan - 1.5 oz (35 g) grated

How to make

Heat the olive oil in a wide pan and put the coarsely crushed garlic cloves to get braised. Add the cleaned, dried and torn spinach and stir for about 3 minutes.

Transfer the spinach and garlic to a blender or food processor. Add the basil, cream cheese and ground pepper. Blend to homogeneity and transfer to a bowl.

Mix the dip with the cooking cream and parmesan. Put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour before you serve it.
