How to make
From the first eight products, knead a soft dough as follows: dissolve the baking soda in the yoghurt, make a well in the sifted flour and gradually mix it with all the ingredients. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/2″ (1 cm) and using a glass - cut out circles, fry in hot (but not too hot) oil, to which you've added 1 tablespoon of brandy.
Put 1 cup of milk to boil in a pot on the stove. With the remaining cup of milk, beat the egg, sugar, flour and starch until you get a thick and smooth porridge. Add it to the boiling milk and stir into a thick cream.
To the warm cream, add the butter and vanilla and stir once again. Allow the cream to cool slightly before filling the fritters using a pastry bag. Serve them with powdered sugar.
