How to make
Cut the meat into medium-sized pieces, the garlic and onions into thin slices, the peppers and mushrooms into strips.
Pour oil into a deep pan, heat it up, add the chopped pieces of meat, sprinkle a little salt and black pepper. Stir everything and put a lid over the pan.
Once the meat is braised a bit, add the garlic and onions, and a little later the peppers and mushrooms. Let the dish cook under the lid, stirring periodically.
Once the veggies soften, season with paprika, black pepper, savory herb.
Add the tomatoes and stir again.
Lower the stove and cook the kavarma until the the water evaporates and it's left in just oil.
Serve with finely chopped fresh parsley.
