"As a rule, fruit cakes are lighter than chocolate ones, so you can eat 2 slices at a time."

Ingredients

  • yoghurt - 6 1/5 cups (1500 g)
  • sugar - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • gelatin - 4 packets
  • fruits - of your choice (bananas, oranges, apples, peaches, pomegranates, others)
  • vanilla - 2 packets
measures

How to make

Pour the yoghurt, vanilla and sugar in a bowl. Stir well. Leave the gelatin to swell and melt it in a water bath.

Pour the melted gelatin into the yoghurt mixture and stir again. Peel and chop the fruits into shapes of your choice.

Leave a few of them aside for the very top of the cake, pour the rest into the yoghurt mixture. Lay out plastic wrap along the inside of a cake form.

Arrange the set aside fruits along the bottom. Pour the yoghurt mixture on top. Leave in the fridge for about 3-4 hours to gel. Then take it out, flip over onto suitable platter and remove the plastic wrap.

Optionally, sprinkle with walnuts, grated white chocolate, coconut or others. Bon appetit!
