Grate the cleaned apples and mix with lemon rind, sugar, raisins and vanilla.
In a greased tray, take two sheets, brush them lightly with oil, sprinkle some bread crumbs and distribute the filling along the length of the crusts.
Roll it up and place in the tray. Spray the crusts with more oil and put to bake in a heated oven.
When the Austrian strudel is ready, let it cool, cut into pieces and sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
