"The legend goes that cones are tastiest on the 2nd day. But they`ve never been able to last that long in my house."

Ingredients

  • for the cones
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • yoghurt - 1/2 cup
  • eggs - 2
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • ammonium bicarbonate - 1
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • Buttercream
  • milk - 4 1/5 cups (1 liter)
  • sugar - 6 tablespoons
  • flour - 6 tablespoons
  • eggs - 4
  • butter - 1/2 cup (125 g)
  • vanilla - 2
  • walnuts - about 1/3 cup (75 g), ground for sprinkling

How to make

From the ingredients for the cones, knead a medium soft dough. Using a rolling pin, roll out a thin sheet, cut it into thin strips about 3/4″ (1.75 cm).

Take the trips and roll them around the metal cones. Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven until reddened. Then fill them with the Buttercream, which is prepared as follows:

In a suitable container, put the milk and let it come to a boil. In the meantime, beat the eggs well and to them add the sugar. Again, stir well with a mixer and add the flour.

Stir the mixture very well and add them to the now boiling milk in a thin trickle while stirring nonstop.

Then add the butter and vanillas and stir until the butter melts, then take the buttercream off the heat.

After you fill the cones with the cream, decorate them with ground walnuts (can decorate with whatever else you like - coconut flakes, chocolate sprinkles or others).
