  • pig spleens - 2 (around 12.5 oz (360 g))
  • mince - 9 oz (250 g). pork
  • savory - 1 tsp
  • cumin - 1/2 tsp
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • paprika - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - to taste
  • oil

How to make

Wash the spleens well. Cut each into 3 pieces. On each piece, make a straight cut with a knife to get a pocket.

Stuff each pocket with mince meat, which you've mixed with all the spices. Arrange in a baking dish, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour the oil on. Pour water into the baking dish (about 2 cups).

Cover with foil and bake in preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) for about 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake on each side for 5 minutes each.
