mint tea

Mint is an exceptionally healthy herb. It is effective against stress, headache and exhaustion, being the perfect means for refreshment. When added to certain drinks, it transforms them into tonic shakes. They can be prepared at home. Here they are:

Mint ayran. For this cocktail you need 4 cups of yoghurt, 3 cups water, 2 tablespoons lemon juice and 1 2/3 tbsp fresh mint leaves. Blend the ingredients well in a blender. Serve the fresh drink with ice and a slice of lemon.

Homemade mint lemonade. For it, you need 2 lemons, 2 cups sugar and a few sprigs of fresh mint. Peel the lemons and blend them. Transfer them into a deep container and add the sugar and mint.

Pour in 12 1/2 cups (3 L) of boiling water on top. Wait for the sugar to dissolve completely, for the liquid to cool and put it in the fridge for one day. Before consumption, strain the drink. Serve it with ice and whole lemon slices.

Honey lemonade with mint. Similar to the last one, for this refreshing temptation you will need 2 lemons, 2 limes, 1 - 2 tablespoons of honey, 6 1/5 cups (1.5 L) carbonated water, a bunch of mint and plenty of ice. Cut the limes and lemons in half and set aside half a lemon and half a lime. Cut them into thin round slices.

Squeeze the set aside lemon and lime, mixing their juice with the carbonated water, honey and mint leaves. Stir well and pour into a pitcher. To it, add the round slices of lemon and lime, as well as lots of ice. Serve the drink chilled.

Tonic drink with mint and fruits. Get some cooled mint tea, 2/5 cup blackcurrant juice and 3 1/3 tbsp cherry juice and mix them together. The drink is a real energy bomb.

Mint tea. Suitable for use at any time during the day, it brings full-bodied invigoration. Besides being pleasant to the taste, it is exceptionally good for pains and spasms in the stomach.

It provides relaxation in the most tense of moments. Make it like you would any other tea. It can be drunk hot or cold, as a tonic drink, a substitute for coffee and even as a remedy.
