Apple cider vinegar is not only a delicious condiment but also a healing agent. In fact, it contains most of the most important minerals needed for our health. Among them are potassium, phosphorus, chlorine, sodium, magnesium, iron and many others.
A spoonful of apple cider vinegar is recommended for symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, or an upset stomach. Apple cider vinegar is also an excellent cosmetic. It is an important ingredient in facial lotions and dissolved in water, it can add a wonderful shine to your hair. Can we prepare apple cider vinegar at home and how to do it?
Buy 10 kg. of apples and wash them well. Then carefully remove their stems and grind them in a meat grinder. You don't need to separate the seeds. After the apple sauce is obtained, put it in an enameled container and prepare the syrup.
250 ml. of water is heated, then 50 g of sugar is added. After the syrup boils, it is removed from the heat and left to cool. Pour the apple pulp with it and cover the bowl with a towel. The mixture should be left in the sun or in some warm place. This is the period when the apple sauce begins to ferment.
Remember to stir occasionally.
Once the fermentation process is complete, the mixture must be strained. The easiest way to do this is to initially use a strainer with larger openings to remove the large pieces. Then you can use a fine strainer or preferably multi-layer gauze.
The vinegar is now ready, so you can pour it into bottles. Close them well and store them in a dark place. Sometimes sediment appears at the bottom of the bottles. In this case, open the bottles and strain them again.
The prepared and bottled homemade apple cider vinegar can be stored for a long time. If you take a spoonful of the precious liquid before each meal, it will keep the acidic environment in your body in excellent condition. However, before taking it, dissolve the apple cider vinegar in a cup of water.
