How to Make Uva Ursi Tea

Tea is a widespread drink, known for its natural origin and beneficial effect on the body. Nowadays teas are offered from different plants and fruits that have different roles on human health.

Uva Ursi tea is less common, but its benefits are extremely valuable. The leaves of this grape variety have a diuretic effect and help treat kidney and bladder problems.

In addition, the composition of the leaves has a beneficial effect in the presence of sand or stones in the gall bladder. To work optimally, Uva Ursi tea should be consumed in moderation. If you exceed the norm, you can develop unpleasant symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Here's how to make Uva Ursi tea

The first step is to cut and crush the grape leaves well. Then prepare the decoction by adding 1 spoonful of the leaves to 700 ml of boiling water.

The next step is to let the decoction simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. When boiled, strain the leaves well.

The strained water is consumed a maximum of 4 times a day, about 100 ml of tea.

You can prepare a cold extract for which you need 1 spoon of the herb and about 200 ml of cold water.

When you mix them, you let them sit for about 8 hours. You can take about 1-2 spoons 4-5 times a day of the strained Uva Ursi extract.
