- Stewing
You can stew the edamame by pouring about 1 cm of water into a suitable container and waiting for it to heat up. Then place the edamame into the boiling water and cover the pot. If the placed soybeans are fresh, then stew for about 10 minutes, and if they are frozen - for only a few minutes.
- Boiling
You add the fresh edamame into a pot of boiling salted water. You need 1-2 minutes to boil fresh edamame, and 5-6 minutes for frozen edamame. Then you strain and rinse the pods with cool water.
- In a microwave
Place the frozen edamame in a bowl and cover with water. You cover it, then put it in the microwave for about 3 minutes. Before continuing cooking with it, it is advisable to let it cool down;
- Baking
You need to heat the pan over high heat, then add the edamame and reduce to medium heat. You let the pods cook until lightly charred, then flip them over and char them again.
