"A universal recipe for a tasty stew that you can make with chicken, beef and even lamb meat!"

Ingredients

  • onions - 18 oz (500 g) onion, tiny heads
  • meat - 18 oz (500 g) by choice - beef, pork, or lamb
  • peas - 1 cup, frozen
  • tomato paste - 3 tbsp
  • oil - 1/5 cup (70 ml)
  • flour - 1 tbsp
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • salt - to taste

How to make

Cut the meat into bite sized pieces, fry them in preheated oil, then remove and fill up the pan with a little more oil. Slice the large onions into coarse pieces, use the small ones whole, after cleaning them.

Fry until golden in the preheated oil. Sprinkle with flour and paprika, add a little water and add the meat. Allow to cook until the meat becomes perfectly tender.

Add the tomato paste, diluted in a little water, and the peas and cook for about 15 more minutes.

Finally, season with spices and remove the dish from the heat. Serve this stew with a chili pepper and some chopped parsley, if desired.
