How to make

Horiatiki is the name of the traditional Greek salad. Wash the tomatoes, cucumber and pepper well.

Dice the tomatoes and cucumber into a salad bowl, chop the onions and pepper into round slices.

Mix a little salt, the olive oil, oregano and vinegar and stir well. Be careful with the salt because the feta cheese and olives are salty.

This Greek salad is always served with feta cheese on top, sprinkled with drops of olive oil and dried oregano.

Add the olives and feta and pour on the dressing.

Tips: You can marinate the diced feta cheese beforehand for about 30 min. in the dressing.

The salad also requires plenty of bread to soak up the released sauce. And don't forget to chill the ouzo ahead of time!

Bon appetit!
