How to make
To make the layer, beat the egg with the sugar, then add the flour and butter. Lay out thus prepared dough at the bottom of a baking form with removable sides - it needs to cover 1/2″ (1 cm) of the sides as well. Put in the fridge for it to harden.
Prepare the cream mixture: Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the yolks with the cottage cheese, vanilla, sugar and lemon juice to a smooth cream.
Dissolve the pudding in the water and add it to the mixture. Add the baking powder and raisins.
Beat the confectionery cream until fluffy and add it to the bowl with the mixture.
Beat the egg whites to thick cream and add it to the other mixture while stirring carefully to keep it airy.
Take the cooled layer out of the fridge and poke holes evenly with a fork on top. Pour the cream mixture over it and then put to bake at 300°F (150 °C) for 1 hour 30 min.
When ready, your Käsekuchen Dillingen will turn golden on top. While it's still warm it'll look like creme caramel. But don't worry about it being runny and underbaked. Once you take it out of the oven, leave it to cool, then put in the fridge for a few hours.
It'll be even better if you leave it overnight in the fridge to harden completely.
