How to make

First, prepare the base. In a bowl, sift the flour with the baking powder. Add the sugar, vanilla, egg and butter.

Knead the dough, which is very crumbly at first, but gradually begins to come together and form into a ball.

Spread it on the bottom of a cake tin with a removable bottom and previously covered with baking paper.

On the walls you need to form a border from the dough. Then put the mold with the bottom in the refrigerator.

Meanwhile, prepare the cheesecake filling. Beat the sugar with the softened butter.

Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the wheat starch. Finally, add the cottage cheese, which is mixed with a wire whisk.

Pour the mixture over the base. Heat the oven to 360°F (180°C) and bake the cheesecake for about 1 hour.

As soon as it is ready, turn off the oven and leave it inside for about 10 minutes. The cooled cheesecake should be stored in the refrigerator. Serve well chilled.

The classic German Käsekuchen is very tasty.
