How to make
Extinguish the baking soda, ammonium bicarbonate and lemon juice in the yoghurt. Add this mixture to a well in the sifted flour. Beat the eggs with the sugar using a fork and add them to the flour.
Add the other ingredients - the lard at room temperature, vanilla and lemon flakes. Stir well and knead a soft and smooth dough.
Tear balls the size of a small walnut from the dough. Flatten them between your palms and in the middle, put a cube of Turkish delight, a cherry from a jam or walnut, as desired. Cover with the dough and form it into a round, smooth ball.
Roll the balls in brown sugar and arrange them in a tray onto baking paper, with some space in between them.
Bake in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven with the fan on until reddened.
