How to make
Boil the peeled potatoes in salted water. While still warm, mash them with the spices and butter. Lay out the potato mixture evenly onto plastic wrap.
You can braise the ham lightly in a pan if desired but I like to use smoked ham, which is great without any additional heat treatment.
Arrange the ham slices onto the potato rectangle and fold it in lengthwise once.
Again, lengthwise, arrange the slices of mozzarella and finish rolling it up. Place in a tray which you've laid out with baking paper beforehand. Sprinkle with the grated cheese on top.
Bake for a bout 20 min.
