"To make these tasty potato sandals you have to lightly boil the potatoes, otherwise they won`t end up nearly so scrumptious."

Ingredients

  • potatoes - 3 large, semi - boiled
  • mince - 9 oz (250 g)
  • bacon - 7 oz (200 g)
  • eggs - 3
  • onions - 1 head small
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • savory - 1 tsp
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • oil - 3 - 4 tbsp

How to make

Fry the grated onion and garlic briefly in oil, add the chopped bacon and after it has fried, add the minced meat. Stir well until crumbled into bits and flavor with spices.

Allow the mixture to cool and then mix in the eggs. Halve the semi-cooked large potatoes. Carve them out in the middle and fill them with the mixture. Arrange them in a baking dish and put them to bake for about 20 minutes or until tender, in a 390°F (200 °C) preheated oven.

You can add some water to the tray. Serve the potato sandals with a sauce of your choice. They go well with cream and garlic sauce.
