How to make
Beat the eggs and sugar in a bowl. Add the softened butter and continue beating to a fluffy cream.
Add the cream cheese and stir again. Sift the flour. To it, add the baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Mix the dry ingredients and add them, spoon by spoon, to the beaten eggs. Peel the pears and clean them of their seeds.
Dice 1 pear and add it to the dough. Stir and then transfer the dough to a buttered and floured tray.
Cut the other pear into thin strips, arrange them on top of the dough. Sprinkle the strips with sugar on top.
Bake the cake in a preheated 340°F (170 °C) oven. Sprinkle the ready cake with powdered sugar.
