Ingredients

  • flour - 1 2/3 cups (400 g)
  • eggs - 2
  • yoghurt - 2 cups (500 g)
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - for smearing

How to make

Mix together the baking soda and yoghurt and leave them aside for 15 min., while you sift the flour in the meantime.

Next, make a well in the flour and pour the baking soda mixture in it, the beaten eggs and about 1 cup (250 ml) water. Season with salt and sugar. Stir well and leave the mixture to rest for 5 min.

Scoop a ladleful of it and spread it out onto a buttered saj or large pan. Cook the pancakes on both sides and serve with some extra butter or jam.
