How to make
Wash the prunes and remove their pits. Mash them and boil with about 3 cups water and the sugar in a wide tray.
During boiling, stir the mixture energetically with a wooden spoon to prevent it from burning. Keep the prunes on the heat until the marmalade thickens.
Then take it off, mix with the citric acid which you've dissolved in a little water beforehand. Add in the brandy at the end as well.
Stir the marmalade well and distribute into jars. Cover them with cellophane wrap, dipped in brandy, and place caps on. Seal them, don't boil.
