How to make
Rub the well-cleaned pork meat with salt and black pepper on all sides. Make small cuts with a sharp knife, stick the garlic cloves in them.
Stir together the ingredients for the marinade until homogeneous and marinate the meat in it. Next, wrap the seasoned pork neck in aluminum foil and put in the fridge for at least 12 hours.
Remove the foil the next day and season the meat with the cumin and rosemary.
Transfer to a pre-greased tray, pour 2/5 cup (100 ml) of beer over it, wrap with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated 430°F (220 °C) oven about 40 min.
Then, lower the oven to 360°F (180 °C) and bake the neck for about 1 - 1 1/3 hours. Remove the foil, add the washed and diced potatoes, cover them with the butter, pour on the remaining beer and bake everything until ready.
