How to make
Knead a dough from the ingredients, excluding oil and feta cheese, then immediately divide it into 4 parts.
Roll out 4 sheets, 9 3/4″ (25 cm) in diameter, smear them with oil, stack them, while sprinkling with feta cheese to taste on the 1st and 3rd sheets.
Stretch the resulting pile with your fingers a little to the diameter of the tray. Cut out 1 1/2″ (3.5 cm) strips, twist them slightly and arrange in the oiled tray, which you've also covered with baking paper.
Leave the loaf to rise, covered with a plastic sheet, for 1 hour at 100°F (35 °C) in the oven.
Bake at 360°F (180 °C) until ready, with just the bottom element turned on for the first 20 min., then turn both elements on for another 15-20 min. or so, depending on the oven.
