How to make
Soak the washed and cut in half green walnuts in the brandy (use gloves). It's best to use a container made of ground glass. I used a 12 1/2 cups (3 L) jar that I wrapped in foil.
Leave the infusion to sit for 45 days in a dark area, due to the iodine. After the time has elapsed, strain the liquid through a gauze and mix it with the sugar and wine in the same container. What I did was I distributed the liqueur into 3 large bottles because I wanted to make 3 separate doses.
I put vanilla in 1, a stick of cinnamon in the next and cloves in the 3rd. It's an easy way of satisfying every taste.
