How to make
Put the eggs and sugar in a bowl, beat for several min. to a cream using a mixer. Pour in the oil and continue beating.
Sift the flour, baking powder and vanilla, pour them into the mixture, stir carefully and add the water. The mixture needs to become smooth and homogeneous, without floury lumps.
Smear a 10 1/4″ (26 cm) diameter cake form with a little oil and sprinkle with flour.
Pour the cake mixture into it, along with the coarsely crumbled biscuits.
Don't stir and don't press, otherwise they're going to sink and reach the bottom of the cake during baking. Preheat the oven to 360°F (180 °C) and bake about 35 min. to a dry toothpick.
Take them out and cool before consumption.
Notes: The biscuits are the sandwich type, stuck together with marmalade, but you can use whatever kind you find. Just be careful when pouring the cake mixture into the form so it's not just clumped in the middle.
Distribute it evenly. I messed up again and poured it right in the middle, so during baking it rose in the middle only, like a mountain peak or something. It's an ordinary old cake but the biscuits give it a more special taste and aroma, so try it!
