"These buns bring back some of the tastiest memories of my childhood and I`m glad to share them with you."

Ingredients

  • milk - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • eggs - 1 for the dough + 1 for smearing
  • yeast - 1/2 cube
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • oil - 3 tbsp for the dough
  • flour - as needed for a medium soft dough
  • feta cheese - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • butter - for sprinkling

How to make

Knead a dough from the ingredients and leave it in a warm area to rise. Once it increases in volume, divide it up into balls.

Roll out each one into a thin sheet, sprinkle with melted butter and feta cheese.

Wrap them up into rolls, cut into pieces and put them in an oiled oven dish. Leave them to rise again, smear with beaten egg and bake.

Optionally, you can sprinkle with sugar.
