How to make
Break the egg in a bowl and beat it with a pinch of salt, 2 pinches sugar using a fork. Add the yoghurt after mixing it with the baking powder. Crumble in the feta cheese as well.
Sift the flour and pour it in gradually. Once everything is well absorbed, add a little more flour - sprinkle and stir, sprinkle and stir.
You need to get a very thick dough that becomes difficult to stir and comes off the walls of the bowl in a ball. Don't knead.
Heat generous amounts of oil in a small casserole.
In a separate bowl, pour in a little oil, dip your fingers in it. Tear a small ball of the dough, about walnut-sized and flatten it into a small pita 2″ (5 cm) in diameter in between your palms.
Put 3-4 of them in the heated oil at a time, flipping them over on both sides. Fry until golden. Serve with your favorite jam. Or yoghurt. Or why not juice?
