"A classic chicken korma with veggies, fragrant spices and a chili pepper."

Ingredients

  • chicken fillet - 1.3 lb (600 g)
  • butter - 2 - 3 tbsp
  • onions - 1.2 lb (550 g)
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • carrots - 2 - 3
  • tomato juice - 1 cup (200 g), from concentrate
  • black pepper
  • paprika
  • salt
  • yellow cheese - 2.5 oz (65 g)
  • parsley - 3 - 4 bunches
  • chili peppers - 3

How to make

Dice the chicken fillet. Braise the cubes in butter and salt them.

Chop the onions finely. Saute them in another container with the oil. Subsequently, add the finely chopped carrots and tomato juice. Fry until they're left in just oil.

Combine the meat and fried vegetables. Add the paprika and black pepper. Distribute the mixture into 3 clay pots. Sprinkle with grated yellow cheese.

Bake in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven for about 10-15 min. until they the cheesy crust turns a nice golden color. Take the clay pots out of the oven.

Sprinkle with chopped parsley.

Upon serving the kavarma, put each clay pot onto a coaster and place a chili pepper and bunch of parsley next to each.
