How to make
Dissolve the yeast in a little of the cool water with 1 tsp sugar and leave it to bubble. Pour it into the middle of the flour, add the salt, oil, remaining water and knead a medium-soft, nonstick dough.
Leave it for 40 min. in a warm 120°F (50 °C) oven. Divide up the ready dough into 7-8 parts, depending on the oven dish.
Roll out each one into a wide ellipse, smear it with butter, put strips of cut cheese on top and cover them with the edges of the dough, pressing with your fingers. Make 7 cuts with a knife and roll it up. Cut each Vienna sausage into 4 equal-sized stumps, then make 8 cuts on top to make each look like a flower.
Arrange the roll into a C shape, put a piece of Vienna sausage in the middle and bring the ends together. Arrange them in a buttered oven dish. Leave to rise for another 15 min., smear with the yolk beaten with 1 tbsp oil and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven for 25-30 min. until they gain a golden and crunchy crust. Serve warm with mixed spices and vegetables.
