How to make
Separate the egg yolks from the whites.
First, beat the whites with the sugar using a mixer until you get a creamy foam.
In a separate container, beat the yolks and oil (can do it by hand). Then add them to the beaten whites.
Add the vanilla and flour and beat with the mixer once again.
Finally, add the ground walnuts. Pour half the resulting mixture into an oven dish and bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven until ready.
Once the cake is baked, take it out of the oven and sprinkle it with powdered sugar. Use a cup to help you cut it into crescents.
It's a very quick and easy cake which will impress even your pickiest guests.
